About

Welcome to My World of Electronic Production
I’m Leiam Sullivan, an artist, producer and engineer deeply rooted in electronic music. This blog isn’t just about theory—it’s built on real experience, hands-on with the tools, plugins, and techniques that shape modern production. Whether it’s refining mixes, experimenting with sound design, or exploring new workflows, this space is a reflection of the process behind the music.
My journey started as a DJ in the late 80s rave scene of Sheffield, leading to residencies at RISE-The Leadmill, Renaissance, The Cross, and Pacha London, and guest spots at Ultra Festival Miami, Cream Berlin, Shelter Chicago, Space Ibiza, Propaganda Moscow, and many more. Alongside DJing, I’ve released music under aliases like
The Footclub, Max Linen, Mr. Pink, Ceramix, The Force, Punk KidZ, and Ashland Crafting records that have rocked dance floors worldwide, from underground raves to international club charts.
I co-founded Beeswax, Milo Records, Dogmatik and Phuzz Recordings, labels that supported underground electronic music, and have worked as an educator at Point Blank and Sheffield College of Music, passing on real-world production knowledge to the next generation. Today, I continue to collaborate with artists pushing the boundaries of electronic music, including Gina Breeze, Evans and Mallinder.
At Deli Records, we operate as an independent creative hub—releasing music, writing about the process and staying true to a DIY approach to electronic music. While rooted in electronic production, I also explore live elements, blending both worlds in a way that keeps the sound evolving.
This blog is an extension of all of that—a space to share insights, techniques and tools that I use daily. If you’re a producer, artist, or just someone looking to deepen your understanding of electronic music, you’ll find practical advice, in-depth breakdowns and fresh inspiration here.
Let’s dive deeper, push boundaries, and make music that stands out.

Welcome to Electronic Production, where creativity meets expertise in the world of electronic music.
I’m Leiam Sullivan, and I’ve spent decades immersed in music production and mixing. My journey began as a DJ in the rave scene of 90s Sheffield, leading to residencies at iconic venues such as The Leadmill Sheffield, Renaissance, The Cross, and Pacha London, alongside guest appearances at world-renowned events and clubs like Ultra Festival Miami, Cream Berlin, Shelter Chicago, Space Ibiza, Manumission, Eden Ibiza, First, and Propaganda Moscow, among many others.
Throughout my career, I’ve been involved in a variety of successful projects, producing under aliases such as The Footclub, Max Linen, Ceramix, Mowbray & Sullivan, and Mr. Pink. I also co-founded labels like Beeswax and Phuzz Recordings, creating music that has rocked dance floors and charted internationally.
Beyond production and DJing, I’ve had the privilege of teaching at Point Blank and Sheffield College of Music, sharing my passion for music and helping the next generation of artists and producers develop their skills.
In recent years, I’ve continued to innovate and collaborate with cutting-edge artists in the electronic music scene, including:
• Gina Breeze: Working on boundary-pushing productions that blend underground house with modern sonic textures.
• Evans: Developing experimental and forward-thinking tracks for the new wave of electronic music lovers.
Additionally, I’ve been producing for Deli Records, crafting tracks that embrace the label’s indie ethos while pushing the boundaries of electronic music. These productions explore new sounds and textures, bringing fresh energy to the indie and electronic music scenes.
Through this blog, I aim to inspire and support producers at every stage of their journey. Whether it’s mixing tips, production techniques, or exploring the latest tools, Electronic Production is here to help you create music that stands out.
Let’s push boundaries and help shape the future of music production together.
